Now it’s a bag with a handle…

It seems every time I go into the Gift Shop at the Honolulu Museum of Art I see something new and wonderful. And, while Shannon Peck’s bags are not entirely new to me, the last time I saw them (at the Made in Hawaii Festival a couple of years ago), they were not being sold anywhere on Oahu.

Shannon is from Paia, Maui. Her line is called Treehouse Designs, and I’m happy to report that she is now selling her bags at the Museum’s Gift Shop.

I love these bags! They are sleek and sophisticated and her choice of colors and textures are beautiful. She has such great taste! And of course some of her textiles remind me of my forever favorite fabrics, Marimekko.

An added bonus: They are reversible and can easily morph from a bag with a handle to a clutch.

…zip it up and and now it’s a clutch!

The bags sell for $198 and they’re made of Ultrasuede and cotton.
