Ever the creative force, fishcake has come up with an original fund raising idea to benefit PangeaSeed, an international organization dedicated to raising public awareness and education surrounding the conservation and preservation of sharks and other marine species that are in peril. PangeaSeed’s goal is to create a sea change within the global community and develop an understanding of the need to preserve and protect the world’s oceans and our planet.
As a reminder of how fragile and unexpected life can be, they are recreating some aspects of the last night on the RMS Titanic. The evening will feature cocktails and lavish hors d’oeuvres inspired by the Titanic’s last menu, catered by vegan Peace Cafe , with desserts by CookSpace. A few offerings:
  • Spoonful Salmon
  • Roasted Vegan Squab served w/ Watercress and Vegetables (from the Titanic’s last menu)
  • Eggless Caviar on Pumpernickel
  • Baked Mushrooms and Walnut Filos, Balsamic Sauce
Guests will be intrigued by the underwater ocean world created by BoxJelly. All are encouraged to dress in vintage finery of the Titanic era.
The private event includes:
*Whisky tasting with whisky aficionado Rex Maximillian in fishcake’s “first class smoking lounge”
*Films, guest speakers, live art, & music
*Shark art gallery: Shark Love Inc by 40 world-renowned contemporary artists making its final stop in Honolulu after a six-city tour of the West Coast
*Special decor by Hound & Quail & fishcake
*Live vintage typing by Universal Babel Service
*New Pop-ups: Andy South, M33ms, Na Mea, Hound & Quail, Vintage Rose, Unleash Studio, Ningyou Studio & more
