There are two hui sales this weekend to which readers of paularath.com are invited.
Friday night (November 30) from 5 to 8 p.m. there is a sale at the home of artist Nancy Taylor:
46-429 Hololio Street, Haiku Plantations, Kaneohe
The sale will feature unique gifts and wearable art from jewelry designer Bev Creamer, the jackets, vests and scarves of wearable artist Elizabeth Kent, the artful handbags of Lynda Sakraida of Hadji Baba Bags and, of course, Nancy’s art.
Wine and light refreshments will be served and you are encouraged to bring friends.

Ceramic by Vicky Chock
Five Friends are holding their 21st Annual Art Sale Saturday, December 1, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This year it’s at Hanahau’oli School, 1922 Makiki Street. The sale features ceramics, jewelry, drawings, prints and more by the following:
Esther Shimazu
Bev Creamer
Donna Shimazu
Vicky Chock
Cora Yee
These sales offer lots of locally made items you simply will not find anywhere else. Way better than hitting the malls this weekend.
