If you haven’t visited the Nordstrom TopShop boutique, it’s well worth checking it out.  Nordstorm’s slice of the British brand offers far more variety than I had thought possible. It’s not just about hot pants and high heels. There were quite a few pieces that can work well across many age groups and personal styles.

To begin with, Nordstrom has dedicated a large and attractive piece of real estate to TopShop. It takes up a generous slice of the third floor, near the Savvy department.

There’s a wide variety of merchandise, from faux leather jackets and studded wedges to flirty frocks and studded wedges. The prices are the same as the prices in England, or less, depending on the dollar/pound relationship.

A few examples: I saw dresses for $64 – $100, handbags hovering around $150, blouses for $64, jackets for $130 and stylish shoes for $176.

Size ranges are also reasonable. Be sure you look at the sizes listed “USA” rather than “England.” England’s 10 is more like our 6. (We don’t need to do that to ourselves!)

Here are a few of the garments that caught my eye:

This digital print dress looks very Mary Katrantzou – at a fraction of the price.

A smattering of studs appeared on many different styles. This top is made of a lightweight sweatshirt-type fabric, ideal of cooler Honolulu weather.

This is a terrific dress for $64 but shapewear is a necessity.

Styling is fun too. Love the camo/faux leather jacket over the flirty frock.

Bet you didn’t expect to see this in TopShop.
