This is beauty week at Nordstrom, culminating in their outrageously popular Cosmetics Trend Event Saturday. Here’s the line-up:

Anastasia Master Class

Friday, October 28 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Eyebrows are bold and beautifuul this fall and the brow experts at Anastasia will offer an interactive lesson on brow application and maintenance with a goal of achieving the perfect brows to frame your eyes. They will shape, create and educate customers on the most flattering brow shape. Space is limited; contact the Anastasia counter to make an appointment. A $30 fee is required to reserve a spot. Fee is redeemable in products on Friday. Phone 953-6100 and ask for the Anastasia Brow counter.

MAC’s Ice Parade

Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Imagine a world filled with dazzling glitter and shimmering ice. Visit the MAC counter to experience the newest collection, “Ice Parade.” MAC artists will be on hand to show customers the new MAC holiday collection. Space is limited. Reserve an appointment  by calling 953-6100 and asking for the MAC counter.

Cosmetics Trend Show

Saturday, October 29

Doors open at 7:15 a.m., show starts at 7:45 a.m., appointments begin at 10 a.m.

Chanel's William Squire will present his take on holiday trends.

Nordstrom’s Red Carpet Glamour highlights the newest makeup, skin care and fragrance must-haves. Industry experts from across the nation will update attendees on the latest beauty trends and secrets. Tickets are $15 and are redeemable for Cosmetics purchase of $15 or more on the day of the event. Tickets may be sold out; check with your favorite cosmetics counter to find out more.

Following the Trend Show, there will be plenty of opportunities to meet and consult with national beauty experts from many different lines. It’s best, of course, to make an appointment, as this day gets crazy busy. From 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., here are some of the artists who will be at their companies’ counters in Nordstrom:

  • Dior‘s national education director Krista Gonzalez and national artist Kevianno, whose work has been featured in top fashion magazines
  • Chantecaille’s international esthetician, Greg Messer
  • Laura Mercier global makeup artist Benjamin Ruiz
  • Trish McEvoy national trainer Paul De Padua
