Once every two years, Arcadia Retirement Residence puts on a jewelry sale. If you know anything about the residents of Arcadia, you know that this is quite a sale.

Beyond vintage, these pieces are often heirloom jewelry, treasured and passed down through generations of kamaaina families. Prices range from $4 to $2,000. Trust me, the prices are way below their appraisal value.

This year the sale will be held Saturday, November 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in the Central Union Church Women’s Building. They can only accept cash or a check with photo ID.

Here are just a few of the beautiful pieces that will be for sale. And, yes, they are the real thing.

Red coral, gold and pearls.

Diamond watch with platinum band.

Lapis lazuli and gold earrings.

Lavender jade and ruby ring.

Blue mabe pearl and gold earrings.

Ming's white jade and pearl earrings

Three-strand silver necklace.

Siouth Sea pearl, gold and diamond earrings.

Semi-precious stone bead necklace.
