Eden Monteilh on the TRX.

Fit Wiz owner Eden Monteilh is inviting fitness-inspired folks to trade some sweat equity for a donation to the Nuuanu YMCA.

As her contribution to the Y’s annual campaign, she will host a Boot Camp class on Tuesday, March 15, at 6 p.m. in Kakaako Waterfront Park. The class is free but, natch, she’s asking for donations to the Y, in any amount.

The class is suitable for ages 12 and up. It’s an interval style class using TRX and other fitness equipment.

The annual campaign raises money to create scholoarships for families who can’t afford to put their children in a needed program. The Y programs serve infants to teens in areas such as outreach for troubled teens, after school care, specialty camps, sports/dance/learn to swim classes and day care.

Class size is limited so RSVP is required: emonteilh@clearwire.net.
