The lovely home we are staying in on Paros is known throughout the neighborhood as “The Hawaiian’s House.” Obviously the owners are very popular, as everyone becomes exceeding) friendly when they hear of where we are staying.

This is also an incredibly cat-friendly place, as it is home to about (and I do mean about – no one seems to have an exact number) twenty cats. Duncan, Jerry and I are all cat lovers so it’s really fun. Most of them are adorable little kittens who are hungry for affection and Duncan is willing – and able – to give them plenty.

We have not uploaded all the photos from Paros but here is a lovely one of the view of the sunset from our room in Delphi. So many visitors bypass the Peloponnese for the islands, simply skipping the entire mainland. We would not have missed it for the world!Of course our exemplary guide, Nick Kalomiris, really MADE the trip for us. We are still using the things he taught us about Greek culture, people and food.

I absolutely love this photo. Hope you’ll both do a “slow art Friday” exhibit of your photos when you get back. Count me in!
