The Rath Building, named after my grandfather, James Arthur Rath.

Mele Kalikimaka!

What better way to see the holidays than in the eyes of a little child. Please enjoy this video of our Palama Settlement Community Christmas Party, shot and edited by the uber-talented Dennis Mahaffay of Anthology Media. Mahalo to board member Valerie Moore for making the video possible.

More than 500 wrapped gifts were given to the keiki of the Palama neighborhood, along with Christmas cookies, popcorn and shave ice.

The joy and excitement of the evening reminded me why I spend so much time volunteering for Palama Settlement. I receive more than I give.

As a former trustee, it is always
refreshing to be able to view the
Christmas children’s event at
Palama Settlement.Your Christmas event is probably the most important event that proclaims Palama Settlement as being a special place for all children.

You’re so right. It makes us all remember why we work so hard for Palama – you included!
